Registration fees include all meetings from Saturday evening’s Keynote session, all day Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and half day on Wednesday. Fees include a welcome reception, morning coffee & mid-morning coffee breaks, a pickup box lunch from Panera Bread on Sunday, a group lunch at Maggiano’s Little Italy next to the hotel on Monday, a group Lunch at Emerald Garden in Chinatown (9 minute walk from the hotel) on Tuesday, 2 poster session receptions and the final program & abstract book. Please note that although we have now added lunches to all three days, the meeting provides only coffee, tea and decaf in the morning as well as a mid-morning break with the addition of some baked goods. For those who want to start their day with a more substantial breakfast, there are many local options, including Starbucks and Off the Common at the hotel, CityPlaceBoston a few blocks down at 8 Park Plaza, which is a small food court including for breakfast Dunkin Donuts & Panera Bread. Or get up early and enjoy an “elegant comfort food” breakfast at Tatte Bakery & Cafe | Back Bay, 399 Boylston St. which is just a 4 minute walk from the Hilton. You can place your order inside or online for pickup. This won’t work on Sunday as they don’t open until 8 AM on Sunday and we are starting at 8:00 AM.

All other meals are on-own, except for the Gala Dinner on Tuesday evening, July 2, which will require an extra ticket, If you need to keep the optional Gala dinner ticket as a separate payment, for instance for NIH employees, please register first without the Gala, pay for the registration and then login again to add the optional Gala which can then be paid for with another credit card. Instructions for editing an existing registration are on the Welcome Page of the online registration system.

Off-site Group Lunches have been added to the program on Monday & Tuesday as follows:

  • Sunday’s Group Lunch:  6 minute walk to Panera Bread to pickup a box lunch and a soft-drink or water. Across from the Panera bread is Boston’s famous Public Garden and Boston Common parks where we hope the weather will cooperate and attendees can enjoy al fresco dining.
  • Monday’s Group Lunch: Maggiano’s Little Italy right next door to the Hilton Boston Back Bay

  • Tuesday’s Group Lunch: Empire Garden in Chinatown, a 9 minute walk from the Hilton Boston Back Bay

We are working on an off-site box lunch for Sunday at Panera Bread (6 minute walk), close to the Boston Public Garden as well, please click here for more details.

Banking Details for Domestic ACH and International Wire Transfers
If you can not pay by credit card you may pay by ACH bank transfer or International Wire transfer by choosing Purchase Order or Wire Transfer as the type of payment. Please include the invoice number and name of the registration and email Joan Oefner for the details about the EBV Association Banking Details.

Cancellation policy: Full refund as long as you cancel by June 10th, 2024. After June 11th refunds will not be available but registrations can be transferred.

EBV-KSHV Joint Meeting is organized under the auspices of the INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR RESEARCH ON EPSTEIN-BARR VIRUS AND ASSOCIATED DISEASES, INC.

The biennial membership fee for the EBV Association is £40 GBP for full members. The student biennial fee is £20 GBP. Please join the Epstein-Barr Virus Association! These funds will be used to support the association and will allow you voting privileges at the meeting.

The Epstein-Barr Virus Association is a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation established in 1987 under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 501(c)(3) with the TAX ID 59-2821283.

Donors can deduct contributions they make as provided in IRC Section 170. The EBV Association is also qualified to receive tax-deductible bequests, legacies, devises, transfers, or gifts under IRC Sections 2055, 2106, and 2522.
