Public Transportation from Logan International Airport to Hilton Boston Park Plaza

The Boston Park Plaza is 1 block from the Arlington T Stop (Green Line) and 3 blocks from the Back Bay T Stop (Orange Line).

Public Transportation

In addition to taxi or rideshare (Uber/LYFT) transportation from Logan Airport to the nearby Hilton Boston Park Plaza hotel, public transportation is available.  Exit baggage claim, and look for the Route 33 bus, which runs frequently  to the MBTA Blue Line train station:

After arriving at Logan Airport, exit the terminal and look for the free Massport shuttle bus stop signs or shelters.

Board the Route 33 shuttle bus, which runs between the airport terminals and the Blue Line Airport station. The shuttle buses are large blue buses operated by Massport.

The Route 33 bus makes stops at Terminals C, E, the rental car center, and then the Blue Line Airport station. It runs every 4 minutes during operating hours.

When the bus arrives at the Blue Line Airport station stop, exit the bus and enter the station to access the Blue Line trains. The bus stop is located right outside the station entrance.

You will need to purchase a “Charlie Card”. Use the kiosks near the train station entrance to purchase a Charlie Card and to load money onto it.

From the Airport Station, take the Blue Line Inbound towards Bowdoin. Get off at Government Center station.

At Government Center, transfer to the Green Line outbound towards Park Street, Arlington, Cleveland Circle, etc. Take any branch (B, C, D, or E train).

Get off at the Arlington station stop.

From Arlington station, it’s a short 2-3 minute walk to the Park Plaza Hotel. Exit the station and walk down Arlington Street, then take a left on St. James Ave – the hotel will be on your right.

The total trip should take around 45-60 minutes and cost just $2.40 for a one-way fare on the T.  This is the cheapest option, though it does involve going up/down stairs with luggage at some stations.

An alternative is to take a taxi from the airport which would be faster (around 15-20 mins) but cost $30-45 each way.  Or you could use a ride-share service like Uber/Lyft for around $15-30 but that can be as high as $75 during peak times each way.

All meetings will be held at the Hilton Boston Park Plaza in the Back Bay. The group rate is available for a limited number of rooms and only for registered participants of the International Symposium on EBV and KSHV 3rd Joint Meeting . The $209 single/double group room rates do not include taxes or breakfast, they do include free WiFi and the Destination Fee of $30 per night plus tax, has been waived from all group bookings. Although the Destination Fee has been waived, it will be show up on your confirmation from the hotel, but its associated charges should be disregarded as it will not calculate into your final bill.

Unfortunately the Hilton Boston Park Plaza is sold out of our Group Rates, we recommend checking Expedia.com to find comparable rooms in the area. First check the group block in case other attendees have cancelled and their rooms will be put back in the block until June 6th.

The welcome reception, meetings and poster sessions will be held at the Hilton Boston Park Plaza in Boston Back Bay area. Special link to book $209 group rate for conference:
Please do not wait until the actual cut-off date as the room block may easily sell out before then and the hotel will revert to their usual rates  (350-$500 per night plus the $30 destination fee.)
